Where your data lives
Everything your users send stays in the United States, with the services below. You can take it out, or erase one person's share of it, on every plan.
- Reports, conversations and accounts
- Postgres on Neon, in AWS us-east-1 (Northern Virginia). Encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Screenshots
- A private Cloudflare R2 bucket in Eastern North America. Only shown through links that expire within minutes.
- Payments
- Polar is the merchant of record. Card details never touch Studio.
- Sent through Resend. Only the recipient's address and the message itself are shared.
- Export
- Download every report with its conversation as CSV or JSON, any time, on every plan.
- Erasure
- Delete everything from one of your users (reports, screenshots, installs and identity) in one step, for GDPR requests.
Good to know
- Plans belong to a workspace and cover every project in it. Each project has its own publishable key and its own data.
- Report allowances reset on the first of each month (UTC). No report is thrown away for going over. On Free, reports past 100 are saved and held until you upgrade (up to 1,000 a month). On Pro and Max, reports keep arriving for another 20%, and owners get an email when the allowance runs out.
- Screenshots are on every plan: 1 per report on Free, 3 on Pro and Max, 5 MB each, PNG, JPEG or WebP. Storage is 1 GB on Free, 10 GB on Pro and 50 GB on Max. Past it, reports still arrive without new screenshots.
- The public API is rate limited per install and per IP: 5 submissions a minute and 50 a day per install, with a Retry-After header when you hit one. Plans don't change these.
- Email notifications, data export, the Support inbox and Announcements are on every plan. Free has one live announcement at a time. Each teammate chooses their own emails, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Custom feedback forms and signed webhooks come with Pro; the GitHub integration and the read-only Viewer role come with Max.
- Payments, invoices and taxes are handled by Polar. Cancel any time from the billing page; you keep the plan until the period ends.
